  1. Apr 2026 – Present

    Senior AI Engineer, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India

    Building agentic systems for knowledge graph modelling and enterprise test automation.

    • Built a knowledge graph modelling companion agent that maps technical documentation to standard ontologies and proposes graph changes with human-in-the-loop review. Manual edits trigger automated impact analysis.
    • Developed an agentic workflow that generates Workday test cases from structured and unstructured sources.

  2. Apr 2023 – Mar 2026

    AI Engineer / Backend Engineer, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India

    Designed multi-agent LLM architectures, RAG pipelines and event-driven microservices for enterprise data.

    • Built a multi-agent architecture on LangChain, MCP and a Neo4j knowledge graph for intent routing, retrieval and multi-hop reasoning.
    • Engineered retrieval pipelines for a production RAG platform serving 10K+ monthly queries at 92% grounded response accuracy.
    • Designed Kafka pub/sub pipelines across 20+ microservices, and ingestion pipelines (PySpark, Databricks, dbt, Airflow) processing 200K+ records a day.
    • Built a Databricks migration agent converting legacy ODI SQL to dbt at about 90% accuracy, with automated row-count, schema and hash validation.
    • Added rule-based and LLM-as-a-judge data quality checks that catch drift and inconsistencies before release.
    • Wrote observability services in Go, and instrumented services with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and LangSmith.
    • Set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker and Kubernetes, and OAuth2 for service-to-service and client endpoints.

    Graduate Engineering Trainee, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India

    PySpark pipelines, predictive models and observability across 20+ microservices.

    • Built PySpark pipelines for ML feature engineering and large-scale data processing.
    • Trained XGBoost and gradient boosting models on structured data.
    • Set up centralised logging and monitoring with Kafka, Elasticsearch and Kibana across 20+ microservices.
